The role of research partner institutions is to provide world-class research experiences for UTEP faculty and students, as well as for our pipeline partners, through programs such as the BUILDing SCHOLARS Scholarship, Summer Research Program, and additional enrichment opportunities throughout the year.
Research partners are also committed to involving their participating faculty in mentoring training. Several research partners have also committed to reserving a set number of graduate school slots for graduates from the BUILDing SCHOLARS Center.
